Mission and Goals

This working group seeks to build strong, authentic strategic partnerships with individuals, organizations, and businesses in the Dedham community to:

Recruit people of color (POC) for municipality based critical roles, decisions, and running candidates.
Actively seek out ways to engage with the community to educate non-POC on race-related issues (media, events, forums, etc.).
Create space for POC members to lead, engage in, and have input on town-wide initiatives and issues that are relevant to them.
