We are here to do the work... to bring Dedham residents together, to thoughtfully and openly combat inequities within our community and within ourselves.
Founded in 2020 by five Dedham moms, DCEI has grown to a community-powered collective committed to challenging inequities and building a Dedham where everyone feels safe, seen, heard, and valued.
As our community’s needs grow, so does our commitment. After months of reflection and collective work, DCEI has created an Advisory Board and updated our mission. The Board brings together community members with diverse lived experiences and expertise to help guide our work, strengthen engagement, and ensure our efforts remain rooted in community needs.
